Suitable punishment for cloning...

Ok so lets peer into the future a bit, shall we?

  1. The USA outlaws cloning.
  2. Some doctors will invariably do it anyway.
  3. In the future, a simple blood test at birth and a DNA database search will tell doctors immediately that the just born baby is a clone.
  4. Cops can be at your house within 25 minutes of a baby clone being born to pick you up for breaking the cloning law.

So what is a suitable punishment for this? Life in prison? A fine?

Assuming the clone isn’t the mother, of course. Picking up the mother would be fastly easier since she is readily available.

Um…what? I don’t think this is in the right forum.

This is a matter of opinion, so I’ll move this thread to IMHO.
