Sunday Morning Puzzle # 90 --- Jigsaw Cryptogram

well, I’ve been drinking beer the whole time I’ve been working on this, so things are a little foggy.

:snicker:

Beer’s OK. Just don’t inhale any of that reef…

Meh. I have had it with this jigsaw puzzle. When I was a lad you knew where you were with jigsaw puzzles. The pieces with flat edges (or curved ones in the case of jigmaps) went on the outside. You knew where you were. You had little round pointy out bits that fit into little round pointy in holes. You knew where you were. This jigsaw, by contrast, is an abomination. An abomination, I tell you. I have an Excel spreadsheet working on this with more computer power than the space shuttle, and yet it and I am exacerbated. I know you biotop, and you are mine enemy. The very beezlebub of jigsaw manufacturers. :smiley:

::skips about snickering::

I have about 8 hours into this puzzle. Now I know how to solve it. But I’m too worn out to do it!

OH! OH! a cryptic hint for InvidiousCourgette

This is the SDMB, bits can fit together in alternate patterns.

Aaargh! If **biotop ** is beezlebub, producing a smack heroin version of a jigsaw, then you indecisive1 are a degenerate pusher, trying to tempt me with some nefarious free sample of how good it will taste when I try just one hit. No, no and thrice no! I will not be drawn into your evil web.

::rolls up sleeve and sighs::

Oh, come on… you know you want it.

At that point I had the words of the text, but not the method. It took a while to get it to match up from beginning to end, but everything has fallen into place now.

Peregrine: I can always count on you to …(groan)…bring home the beacon!
