Super Glue for Hot Conditions?

Our dishwasher has small, plastic clips to adjust spacing between rows of tines to accommodate different size dishes. But, these plastic clips break off. I just want to glue them in one place (and forget the adjustment feature). The problem here is many glues, super glues, etc., are not made to withstand heat and/or water. Any suggestions for a glue or epoxy I can use to withstand heat and water?

Original JB Weld or metal epoxies.

Use silicone. Something like this Loctite Silicone Sealant.

It will be difficult to get a good joint between the materials that will withstand heat and hot water with other glues and adhesives.

Without being able to see what you’re trying to glue to what, can you use zipties? The only time I’d be concerned about them failing is during a heated dry cycle. But I can tell you, without question (at least for all the zipties I’ve ever used), they have no problem being in boiling water.

Hey, thanks all! Good ideas!
