Tonight’s moonrise was better than last night’s; perhaps because I was in a different part of town. It was lovely, luminous, bright, full, almost magical. (Hush! You know what twilight in summer is like–it is wonderful.)

I didn’t even know we were in a supermoon, but I have noticed it seeming much brighter out at night. But it shouldn’t be that big a difference, should it? I can’t read by it, but I can see the mail when I forgot to get it earlier.
