Superbowl Ads

In that anti-pot ad, why didn’t the girl just get an abortion? Oh, wait, marijuana impairs one’s judgment. My bad.

(Sorry, I’ve drank a lot of malt liquor tonight, and my judgment is thus impaired. When I awake tomorrow I will hope that I find my spelling and grammar impeccable, if not my judgment.)

I vote for the Pepsi-Ozzy commercial. The look on Ozzy’s face is just priceless.

The Hulk commercial turned me off because the CGI looked really fake.

Also, IIRC if you have AOL you can go to keyword Superbowl ads to view all the new ads.

Belive it or not StikyIcky, some people who are of sound mind and judgement do not get abortions. Amazing eh? Not everyone Considers Abortion the answer to an unplanned pregnancy.

Loved the Bud commercial with the horses…
“That ref is a Jackass!”
“No he is a Zebra”

The ass clown was good.
“can I have a hotdog?”
“NO!”

Loved the Siera Mist? ad with the Monkey making a Teeter tot and launching over the rocks to go land in the polar bear pool.

They were all good, but I still like the Coke commercial out “try and make it real compared to what?”

I like the Reebok, Office Linebacker, more offices need that, being tackled and yelled-reamed for not doing your job correctly.

Maybe we wouldn’t have Enron and Worldcom, etc. if they had an Office Linebacker. Hey there are football players out of work now, this is the employment they need.

BTW there was another dot com ad: myfico.com.

Now that the game is completely out of reach for the Raiders, I must say that I was being sarcastic, Osip. I forgot to put the [sarcasm] tags around my post. Even though I’m undecided on the abortion issue (nothing about religion, it’s more about when/if the fetus has a constitutional right to life, etc), I still thought that ad (like most of these anti-drug ads for which MY TAX DOLLARS are paying) was idiotic. That was the main point. I’m not at all sorry for saying what I said, it was probably just not clear. Back to drinking, my anti-drug.

(P.S. These ads have totally sucked. From the Budweiser “her ass is gigantic” ad to the anti-drug ads to the monster.com ads to the Budweiser “horses playing football, oh my god that’s so funny!” ads, these ads have been disappointingly weak. I’d say I’d post more when I sober up, but i won’t.)

Holy crap! You’re right!

Dammit! You mean I missed an Office Space reference?! Crap.

Of the ones I did see, Ass-Clown and Ozzy are my favs.

“I’m a little bit counnnn-trryyyyyyy…”
“And I’m a little bit rock-and-rollllllllll…”

That’s almost the exact same joke as the easter egg on the Castaway DVD.

Yeah, Office Linebacker’s my favorite too.

Ruffian - you can see the Reebok ad (Office Linebacker) in it’s entirety on the Reebok website.

Terminus Est has a link posted in this thread.

I loved this ad. Did anyone else notice “Felcher and Sons” on a wall in one of the shots?

I liked the Bud Light zebra commercial.

The big-butt Miller commercial was lame.

I could happily live the rest of my life without seeing another of Subway’s Jared ads. Does anyone else think the sweet-onion teriyaki sauce doesn’t look appealing at all?

The FedEx ad was funny. “What’s in there, anyway?” “Oh, a satellite phone, a GPS receiver…”

Loved the upside-down clown commercial. “Can I get one of those hotdogs?” “I don’t think so.”

One more thing: I’ve got to agree with sleestak about the Hulk trailer. The Hulk looked way too cartoonish.

Ok, Now I understand. thanks for clearing that up for me.

have another round on me.
g’night

OK, I lied about the “one more thing” part…

I see that the feds have abandoned the ridiculous drug-money-funds-terrorism claim. Now the ads are saying that drug money funds “Really Bad Things.” Which is true. This shoulda been the ad that they aired in the first place. I guess that the DEA guys got tired of people laughing at them :stuck_out_tongue:

Last time I checked they didn’t have any of the beer commercials available.

How do you get to the Reebok commercials on the website, I can’t seem to find them.

Please disregard the last post, I had my Pop-Up blocker on.

I also gotta vote for the ass-clown. It was kinda cute until he asked for the hotdog. All I could picture was him sticking the hotdog in what looked like his ass & I started rolling.

Also the 3 Michael Jordan ad wasn’t technically a superbowl ad. I’ve been seeing it for at least 2 months.

I thought I heard the guy say “here at Felcher” but then I thought I was just hearing things…
