I only watched some episodes from the past season, but from what I saw the rift has already happened.
Oh cool, whats happened so far? I wonder what season your in. I got into this show when it was playing a new episode everyday on ABCfamily. From there I bought every DVD set from every season until I caught up. I love this series. I love Superman because of this series. I could care less what the Superman canon is. This is my Superman canon. Enjoy.

That character’s name was Amanda McCoy. She had intermittent appearances over the next few years, stalking Clark Kent and trying to conclusively prove he was Superman. She succeeded but was conveniently killed off before spreading the word.
