Tripps also had Aquarian and a couple other ‘active’ ones, although it was later found that:
They weren’t really him. They became ‘placeholders’ for him when he changed, and, if allowed to stay long enough, would begin to remember things from other worlds on which they lived.
Durring the Monster transformation, Mark (Tripps’ real name) finds out that there are, theoretically, almost an infinite ammount of heroes he -could- summon, if he could just figure out how.
Mark’s original incarnation was ‘The Movement’, and he tried to re-establish that form to no avail for the rest of his metahuman career.
Also in Wildcards there was Mister Wall-walker. He had two secret identities; one was a normal guy, and the other was a man with -many- more superpowers than simply walking up walls (he could negate any energy. He used the ‘wall walker’ thing by negating gravity on himself, just to throw off suspicions). I don’t recall if his other ‘powered’ persona had a specific name or not.
(Can you tell I was a bit of a wildcards geek at first?)
Gah, would’ve edited, but time ran out- Sleeper, in the second (lordawful) series was shown to have one constant power that always stayed with him no matter what he woke up with. The entire second series sucked rocks, though, so I prefer to think of it as non-canon.
Both Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson have used the established alias of “Matches” Malone. Lots of superheroes have used a one-off undercover alias, but this one is recurring.
Dr. Stephen Strange has used the aliases of Stephen Sanders and The Strange. He was also the Red Rajah once.
Hey, has anybody mentioned the early Thunderbolts yet?
Just a side note here, but y’all realize that different names for the same person don’t count, right? Same goes for people who USED to be _____, and now they are _____.
