Yep. Whatever the outcome at the lower courts, I don’t think anyone will see any records before the election, and probably not even before the inauguration.
Which is no bad thing, whether he wins the election or loses. Either way, he is likely going to be forced to disclose his taxes/finances in upcoming investigations and indictments. I mean, unless the lower court does the unthinkable and grants him some sort of immunity. Right?
What I’m hoping it means is that New York will have grand jury indictments locked and loaded by Jan. 20, 2021. At 12:01pm that date trump will be in Mar-a-Lago, where the FBI can pick him up for “Interstate flight to avoid prosecution.” Then drag his ass back to NYC in chains. On commercial. In coach.
The Oklahoma case is going to have some interesting impacts, mostly unclear at this time. I personally think the tax ramifications will be the most interesting.
That was my thought as well on the Oklahoma case.
He’s already lost it – he’s been tweeting away like crazy over this ruling. I’m most amused by the fact that both Gorsuch and Kavanaugh sided with the majority including all the liberals, with only Thomas and Alito as the lunatic-fringe dissenters. 
I’m sure he’s absolutely apoplectic about the fact that Gorsuch and Kavanaugh were supposed to be, first and foremost, TAKBFFLs (Trump’s Ass-Kissing Best Friends for Life) and they turned out to be, at least in some respect, justices of the Supreme Court.
That appears to be the bottom line here. I think Trump is sunk in November anyway. The Bolton and Mary Trump books together will probably do more damage than any tax returns might do, I imagine, since I think the tax returns will only establish that he’s a dishonest, incompetent businessman who isn’t remotely as rich as he claims – none of which should be news to anyone.
This is delayed until after the election. If Trump loses or wins he will continue to try to influence the courts by firing and hiring until the inauguration takes place, with Plan B being skipping the country with whatever money he doesn’t already have squirreled away overseas to a friendly (to him) country.
I think exposing how indebted he is to Russia will be an excellent, “We fucking told you so!”, to all the MAGATS and enablers.

Russia. Bolsonaro has COVID, Putin doesn’t. And his admiration for Putin’s authoritarianism is boundless. Trump will kiss ass like there’s no tomorow. Plus in Russia, Ed Snowden could offer him “new resident” tips, like where to find the best borscht and perogies, and how to lose the FSB agents when they’re tailing you.
I’m convinced it will be a midnight flight(risk) to Russia.
But Putin has no reason to coddle Trump. Trump will have no money and no power; why would Putin waste resources on him? It wouldn’t even work as a trophy thing: no one will care about Trump at that point.
Trump probably has money hidden overseas so he can use that if he heads to Russia or somewhere else.
Having “possession” of an American President shows power.
Difficult as this is for me to say, Trump may yet be of some use. To Putin. After all, he can be reliably depended on spilling whatever secrets managed to lodge themselves in his syphilis addled brain. They’ll have to debrief him quickly and under medically induced conditions, but they’ll get something out of him.
I doubt that Trump has thought of that.
And I still don’t see it happening.
