Taylor Tomlinson’s standup is funny. Her show, however, is bad. Her show is very political. I don’t remember ever hearing her talk about politics is her standup.
Sometimes the person doesn’t really care about the leopard and anyway it’s someone else’s face that gets eaten and they blame the leopard (talking about the mother here).

I’ve never seen her st6andup. I had watched her show when it started, but gave up after a few weeks. I don’t remember any political discussion when I was watching, but I couldn’t follow all the social media references, and everyone talked so fast I (and the closed captioning) could keep up with it.
I’ve seen her standup and thought it was funny but I couldn’t watch enough of the show to even say it was political - I think I just hated the format.

Yeah, another case of someone invoking the “Shirley exception” – issue a draconian law/rule/order, have apologists argue that “surely they will know a valid exception when they see one, they’re not stupid”. Has been brought up in the deportations debate as well.
Once again, I don’t know what to say. That Trump and his ilk are liars is simply incontravertible.
During one of Jordan Klepper’s recent “Fingers The Pulse” segments, he was trying to see if the same people who defended DOGE cuts would also defend the expenditures on the recent DC parade (spoiler alert - of course they did). One of the things he asked was whether cuts to cancer research were justified. One response: “Absolutely - go natural.”
Of course, “going natural” with cancer likely means dying a slow painful death in reality. The pall of malignant ignorance that lies over this country breaks my heart sometimes.
ETA: The case in the article is UK based, but still. Malignant ignorance is everywhere.

This is not a gift link, because I’m sure anyone reading that headline can figure out what these MAGAts said in the article. It’s not rocket surgery. Okay, one of them said he felt betrayed by the bombing but he still trusts trump. But mostly people said stuff like we voted for him because he takes action. Other politicians said the southern border couldn’t be secured but he did it! (He did??) We voted for him because he said he would bring down gas and food prices and bring back manufacturing. We’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.
They believe everything trump said and says even when he doesn’t deliver. These people are too stupid to live.

Well, @ThelmaLou lives in Texas (admittedly the least Texas-y part of it) and the Leopards have been face-feasting there for a looong while, with only tiny moments of fleeting shadenfreude.
Having to put up with the Federal Leopards as well is certainly headache inducing!
This thread is about people who voted in support of the face-eating leopard party. From what I can tell, ThelmaLou did not support any face-eating leopards, though it is hard to deny that the Democrats whom she probably did support have done little-to-nothing to rein those leopards in or mitigate the face-feast.

Once those damn cats get a taste for blood, they can be quite indiscriminate.
But if you expect them to be doing the face-eating, at least you can try to defend yourself, rather than being caught by surprise.
