Both of these items appear in today’s Spokesman Review (Spokane, WA). First, US Rep Baumgartner praises Trump’s address to Congress. Then, in an op-ed he penned with an area businessman, he cries about Trump’s tariffs and how they will hurt the region.
I’m guessing these are paywalled, but you might be able to read one of them. I recommend the op-ed. Get ready to bust out your tiny violins.
On a more homey, macro level, Trump’s also pissing off the paper straw types.
