What is the average compensation to the surrogate mother for carrying the baby?
Also, would the term and the delivery be similar to what the mother had experienced in the past or do things change now that the baby is not “hers”.
Say the surrogate mom had three normal and fast deliveries, would the term and delivery of the surrogate baby be the same as the first three?

I would suggest you check with an attorney in your jurisdiction to verify that surrogacy contracts are legal before going any further. Some states have outlawed them on public policy grounds.

$10,000 - $20,000 were some ballpark figures I read bandied about in various newspaper articles. Same articles also showing that these surrogate women are pretty likely to take the baby and run also. Then the wannabe parents are all like “save us lawmaker” but, no.
Im a man who read the add in a local newspaper and am wondering how this all works. I think the add was placed by a woman who cant carry her own children.
My brother’s wife couldn’t carry children. Her sister carried my nephew. She was artificially inseminated with my brothers sperm. Kind of a weird scene but I guess it all worked for them and the baby (although technically his aunt is his mother) was from the same basic gene pool. As far as I know, there was no money involved but then that was among family.
