Surveillance cameras in dressing rooms?

So do stores like Victoria’s Secret or Gap have people watching people changing?

      • In one of William Poundstones “Big Secrets” books, he investigates this. He was told the rumor that various upper-end stores have cameras or people monitoring the dressing rooms. No company he asked on the matter admitted do doing it, and most just said that most companies have their clerks count how many items a person takes in and makes sure they have that many when they come out. The one store he checked out had a full-length mirror on one wall of the dressing room, but when he found a door marked “employees only” that led around to where the opposite side of the mirror would be, he found only an empty blank wall. So the general assumption would be “no”, at least not as a part of any official company-wide policy.
