If not, then why, as an American, are you answering a football question with a British answer?

It’s not a British answer. I’m not a huge sports fan (unless it’s the Winter Olympics) and I watch about as much English football as I do American football. This year i’ve watched more English, so Man U was the first thing that came to mind.

To confuse matters more, I’m no longer in L.A.
