Family Feud Meets Scattergories! [Closed]

A few tweaks to the usual rules for these threads, so read carefully before proceeding:

A. Read all the rules.

B. Post your answers before reading the thread.

C. Post your answers like this:

  1. Answer
  2. Answer, etc.

Do not repeat the questions, but feel free to add extraneous fluff amongst your answers. If you want to add commentary, double space after your tenth answer and do it there.

D. Scoring - If you’re familiar with Scattergories, you know that the object of the game is to come up with words that all begin with a certain letter. However, while the ideal play in that pastime is a word that fits the category but is not duplicated by any of your opponents, in this contest the object (as in Family Feud) is to echo the most popular reply in order to score as many points as possible. Number of valid answers for each question will be multiplied by two, and the resulting figures added, in order to determine point totals.

E. The game will end either when we have 50 entrants, or at 8 AM Eastern Daylight Time on Friday, April 11th – whichever comes first.

F. The penalty. While incorrect answers can normally score points in Family Feud, that is not the case in this iteration. If you do not play what I consider to be a valid answer, you will LOSE 10 POINTS for that question. Examples of responses that will cause deductions:

  1. Passing or failing to reply
  2. Posting an answer that does not begin with the designated letter (such as saying GREEN in response to “Name a color that begins with K.”
  3. Posting an answer that does begin with the designated letter, but does not otherwise fit the category (such as saying KITCHEN in response to “Name a color that begins with K.”

If you are not sure of a response, please don’t hesitate to use Google, Wikipedia, or other sources in order to confirm (or negate) your impulse.

And now, let the game begin!

  1. Name a Chevrolet model that begins with C.

  2. Name something a typical bachelor buys at the grocery store and that begins with P.

  3. Name a major world city that begins with M.

  4. Name a girl’s first name that begins with L. (Type carefully, as all spelling variations – even if unintentional – will count as separate answers to this question.)
