I’m taking a trip in a few weeks and would love recommendations of good food in SW CO. My planned stops on the western side are GJ, Ouray (driving Million Dollar highway and it looks like a good place for lunch) and Cortez.
What I am looking for is casual places, but not chains or fast food. Cheap is good. I won’t have any really dressy clothes with, so places to eat that I won’t be out of place in a tee, shorts and sandals is great.

I can recommend a bunch of places in Durango but unfortunately I am still exploring it and have had time to get out to Ouray or Cortez. If your plans change let me know and I can recommend a bunch of places here.
Oh there’s a good wing place in Grand Junction but I don’t remember the name it’s near Mesa State somewhere
Not a restaurant, but you should stop by Enstrom’s in downtown Grand Junction for a taste of their almond toffee. It is amazing.
