“Steal my Sunshine” is the only Len song I ever heard, but something about them struck me as refreshingly earnest. Maybe it’s because they were Canadian and riding around on scooters and just didn’t give a fuck how unbelievably uncool they looked and sounded. That made them cool to me.
Party in the USA, on the other hand, should be a war crime.

Canadian anecdote - apparently Len played the Calgary Stampede, and the band swore so much that they have been banned from playing the Stampede again. Which is kind of moot at this point. ![]()
