Actually, this movie was called “Play Misty For Me” and it starred Clint Eastwood and Jessica Walter.
Seeing that trailer was the worst thing that happened to me when I went to see Austin Powers…until the Austin Powers credits started. (The real credits, I’ll exempt the first 5 minutes, that was actually funny.)
Some of us wouldn’t mind seeing this movie. Then again I am a swimmer so I’m more intersted in that aspect. I think I’ll wait a few weeks til it’s out on video. Though I do know the whole plot, but who cares?
Maybe the movie is actually an enduring work of art, and they made it look stupid in the trailer as an ironic statement. Maybe not.
