There’s a song out there which has the words “swing low/lo, sweet chariot” or “swing down, sweet chariot” only once in the lyrics. What is the name of this song?
You know when you’re finding something trivial, which has no importance, but you can’t find it and it’s driving you totally insane? This is it for me tonight: this is driving me so crazy I don’t think I will be able to sleep until I find out.
Omitting the obvious, I’m gonna need some more to work with here. Is the vocalist male or female? Is this gospel, R&b, country, what? Recent or oldie? Can you recall ANY other lyrics?
I know it’s upbeat, recent. The person who says the words is male, and I am almost certain it’s a band - meaning, containing more than one person - that plays and sings the song. The words are almost like an interjection into a song - it has no relation with the song, and is not repeated.
I’m leaning towards being not a Christian/Gospel song, in that when I heard it, I thought, “Well, that doesn’t belong there.” But it could be a Christian song with one exuberant member who inserts those words.
I have been searching for the past two hours or more now.
