So I’ve got this roommate who claims that he saw something about the making of the 1960s Swiss Family Robinson (the Disney one). He says he saw something about the scene where the guy wrestled a real anaconda for the movie. The way he describes it, they dropped the snake on him in the water, filmed him with it for 10 or 15 seconds and then they had 6 guys jump in and grab the snake.
Now obviously, this sounds incredibly far fetched, so where do I go for fact checking, Straightdope. So what do you all think? Or perhaps know? Corroborating knowledge?
