This is a friend of mine. I heard about this almost real-time from her Facebook feed. She’s always been a really cool person, but this new fame of hers has become interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever had a friend “go viral” before. Most of her posts about this are marked #IJustWantedToSleep.
Motto: Don’t break into the home of rollergirls who have been trained in SCA combat.

Well, the SCA does a passable imitation of it.
Aye, I can vouch for that fact. I learned shield formations and fighting, swords, axes, clubs and maces, and quarterstaff (my favorite) during my time with Sangre del Sol back in the early 1980s. I also learned how to make plate armor and chain mail. Tons of fun!
