T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint? Which Cell phone should I get?

I need a new cell phone and have no idea which one to go with. Which company is the best or what are your experiences?

It depends on your intended usage. My wife and I just switched to Virgin Mobile. She used to do about 1 to 2 1/2 hours of time per month. I needed very, very little. Previously we had a Verizon account with my phone and usage added to her account for an extra $20 per month. She paid about $39.

This Virgin deal is prepaid. You deposit $$ in advance and debit the $$ as you use it. It’s costs 25 cents per minute for the 1st 10 minutes of the day, then it drops to 10 cents per minute. Long distance and local cost the same. You need to buy a minimum of $20 every 90 days. So you could have an account for as little as $6.67 per month… total net everything.

My phone cost $59 and they gave me $25 worth of time in a rebate so I’m net out of pocket $34. The phone has a button that checks your amount of $$$ remaining. You can buy new time by pressing a button on the phone using your credit card or on the web on in cash at Best Buy. Also, all calls the same… no tax, long distance or roaming.

If you’re looking for using 25 minutes per month up to about 4-5 hours, check it out. Also, Virgin uses the Sprint PCS network which is extensive.
