Just too funny – because I don’t live around there.
Ummm…I’ve eaten at that one before.
It’s been a few years, but I’ve eaten at that KFC/Taco Bell.
The rats are sort of cute, though.
I love the guy who said that rats belong on the outside, *mice * belong inside. I hope he’s not in the food industry.
And who’d have thought that, of all movies, *Demolition Man * would be the predictor of things to come? “Ees Rata, Senor.”
I’ve walked by that place a zillion times and never had the desire to go in, rats or no rats. It’s between a tattoo parlor and a marital aids store, I think, and the theater a few doors down is now all classy and stuff but was abandoned for several years after 9/11, now doubt helping to breed the rats.
I have, however, eaten at the now-vacant Wendy’s a few doors down.
Those rats sure look happy.
Timing is everything. If only this rodent exposure had occurred several months ago, Taco Bell could’ve fed their bad green onions to the rats, and taken care of two problems at once.
Our forces will rally back again and again! Fight all you want, humans, but you shall rue the day!
That’s the one on 6th & West 4th right? Never been inside (hate Taco Bell) but walk past it all the time.
I ususally go there after I get my hair cut at Astor Place.
This location is close to NYU so you know they are pretty busy.
Well I’d draw the line at a restaurant. But sometimes animals just *are * places, you know?
This week at work we got told to report any sightings of mice or rats as “they are a health and safety issue”. We work on a railway. An underground railway. And they want us to report every frikken mouse we see. Not enough  in the world for that one.
Well, I was wrong–it’s between TWO tattoo parlors (and one of them has another tattoo parlor next to it). Walked by it again today and it’s got its metal gate down on the doors and two giant flourescent-yellow CLOSED by the Board of Health stickers on either window. People stop and peep inside as if hoping to see the cavorting rats, as the Grey Lady shows here.
