Taking a sleeping pill and a caffeine pill at the same time?

You see, nowadays, P2P is a type of file-sharing and beans comes from Starbucks. Then again, the beans from Starbucks are properly more expensive than prescription phenobarbital, depending on your co-pay, of course.

D’oh! Make that, the beans from Starbucks are probably more expensive.

it depends on what downer you use.

a sleeping pill, like sominex, is the same thing as benadryl. in large doses it will make you tired, your limbs will feel extremely heavy as if you have the flu or something, its like your completely out of fuel. your mouth and nose and eyes will get really dry. your pupils will be dilated. does this sound fun yet? the no doz is equivelent to like 3 cups of coffee or something the caffiene stimulates the production of adrenaline, so your in fight or flight mode, and it inhibits the reuptake of dopamine, so it makes you happy, excited to be alive.

then you could try an rx sleeping pill, ambien. take 20 or 30 mg, and drink some coffee, and wierd things will definitely happen, nothing mind blowing but youll definitely be tripping. the only problem is it causes anterograde amnesia at these doses, so you probably wont remember any of it. at least you will keep everyone else entertained.

finally good old opiates. why would you want to ruin the fun with uppers anyway? well youll feel warm and mellow, generally euphoric. adderall is amphetamine and it works a little differently than caffiene, but ultimately accomplishes the same thing increasing dopamine levels and producing adrenaline. and methamphetamine is amphetamine with a methyl group on it. which apparently makes it more soluble in fat so its a more potent psycoactive.

anyhow all these things have very different actions on the brain, and do not cancell each other out, youll just be doped and alert. same thing as drinking beer and drinking coffee, doesnt make u less drunk just makes you an alert drunk.

Welcome to the boards, mattwhittall! While your post is informative and interesting, according to the FAQ, we prefer for you to open a new thread about this and link to the old thread, rather than post to a 4-year-old topic. I don’t want to be all junior-moddy, so I’ll ask a mod to come say it more eloquently than I can.

(Also, the shift key! Please use it sometimes.)

Tired and jittery.
