First of all, you can get any kind of prescription lens as a sunglass lens.

But if you have a strong prescription not every sunglass *frame *will work for your prescription. My prescription is strong enough that even with the highest index lenses I can get, they’re too thick to use any sort of frames that “wrap” so I always have to get regular frames for my sunglasses instead of nice big frames like I want. At least I haven’t found any yet.

Wow, that’s some Mr. Magoo/Velma from Scooby Doo type shit. I’m lucky, without my glasses/contacts, I just can’t make out any details or anything. Floors and stuff, no problem. I can get anywhere that doesn’t require driving just fine. And even the driving, it only really that pesky thing on my license saying I need lenses that prevents that. Sure I wouldn’t be able read signs, but other cars and obstacles, I’m sure I’d be okay not hitting those.
