Anyone teach English online? A friend is looking into it. What’s it like? I think you can teach kids or adults but mostly kids.
I teach in Saudi Arabia. I will retire next month and am looking into this. I asked around at the office. People claim that it works like this:
- Company get Asian family to pay for tutoring
- You tutor online. You are paid by the hour.
- At some point the kid loses interest. They stop paying you.
- Company keep the entire fee paid by the family.
My friend does it and says it works out well for him. It really depends on the company you work with.
