Teemings #4 : More Fool Me

Okay, so I’m a bit early. Sue me. It wasn’t due until tomorrow morning, but just in case I’m up too late tonight painting the town red …

Teemings #4 : More Fool Me has just been released.

Or at least something that looks just like it …

Enjoy, and please let us know what you think.

I’ve already read part of it, and you did (as usual) a wonderful job!

And I loved your editorial, too.

Scotti

Yeah, and everybody better read, cause I’m in it!

Oh, yeah, and everybody else who writes better than me, too. They’re there. Go read them.

Great work, Euty!

Yay! Jeffie’s* in it too! I think it’s my fault…she sent me that right after she wrote it, and I told her she should submit it to Teemings, and she did, and didn’t even tell me! Now I suppose I should write something worthy of being published…When’s the deadline for the next issue?

Do I really want my name associated with the ezine of the Doting Geisha online community? Of course I do. Good work all. I’m sorry to hear about David leaving, though. I expect the space aliens used mind control to force him to give it up. Just a guess.

P.S. Don’t miss “Every Light” by Ben Tigert. I had to pee bad by the time I got to it, but I couldn’t leave the screen until I finished reading.

Bump No. 1 for those who didn’t see it yet.

I’m getting an error message when I try to access the issue… the geocities page loads fine but doesn’t have the current issue.

Is there a problem?

I can’t get anything but “this page cannot be displayed”. :frowning:
Damn…I really wanted to see it, too!

Hey! What gives? Why can’t ‘the page cannot be displayed’?
Poop.

I’ll see your ‘poop’ and raise you one ‘crap!’. I can’t get it to load, either…

Well, hmmm…

It was coming up the day Euty first posted this. Something’s happened since then.

:frowning:

Dammit.

The strange this is that I acn get to the site through my FTP server and al the files are there, but it won’t load through the browser.

I’ve e-mailed the provider to let them know the problem. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

My posting rant didn’t make the cut…

Guess I’m off to write the definitive American short story.

Well, I don’t know what happened except to say that the server must have had the howling fantods, but it’s back up now.

Chief Scott : your piece did make it in. The e-zine itself is for original articles. Yours in Teemings Extras where we put items that we find on the boards that we probably would have accepted for publication had they not been posted on the board first. The Extras part of the site is accessible through the main page (http://www.teemings.com). We’re always looking for board items to put in there, so if you have any nominations, send them on in. We’ve already got WierdDave’s life story and the Sea Monkey OP ready to be posted there as well.

I’ve seen 3 out of the four Teemings.

Uh – I’m sure you all are wonderful writers, witty and gifted at your craft – but I just can’t get “into” Teemings. At all. I tend to read a paragraph, maybe two, of something, then feel my interest lag. I don’t know whether I can’t get my head around tyhe format or what – or maybe I’m just a dumbass.

But honestly – I find it very hard to read. Even the humour. Especially the humour. Usually I like to say stuff to bolster up the self-esteem and ego, but – I have to be honest: I continue to bypass Teemings.

Sorry.

You have discovered their secret. Now, I’m afraid, they must destroy you… Sorry.
