I think they ought to run their pictures on the evening news in their area on a nightly basis.
“Have you seen these nimrods?” “Nimrod sighting at local mall!”
And under each photo, the line “local idiot”, a la The Simpsons. (local boob)
BTW, there was nothing in Jackass about criminally assaulting total strangers. In that show, they caused pain and humiliation to themselves.
And it’s not like these nimrods would have lead clean, respectful lives had there not been such a show. Assholes will always be assholes. They would have found a way to express that.
