The get around that by censoring (some of) their movies for the German market. Sadly, the German DVDs also contain the the censored versions, so that it’s difficult to watch the original movies here.

Anyway you’d lose, they have the same pattern the whole way thro’ - it’s (& I can’t spell Italian so we’re going with the sounds in case of error) undici, duodici, tredici, quattordici, quindici, seidici then the pattern changes - possibly for pronunciation purposes because the meaning is the logic is the samd - diecisiete, dieciotto, diecinove.
Perhaps I wasn’t clear when I said the pattern stays the same I meant the combination of number plus ten rather than having 'different words for 11 & 12.
We were watching original English versions, so I don’t think they were censored. This was at the Turmpalast theater in Frankfurt aM.
