Early 90’s singer or band. Lead singer had blonde dreadlocks, and the song was a one hit wonder if I recall correctly. The music was alternative. Thanks to all those with ideas and/or thoughts.

Any chance it’s the Spin Doctors? They actually had 2 or 3 singles, but they went away real quick. Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong, Two Princes, and Pocketful of Kryptonite all got some airplay.

Soul Asylum sounds like a good bet. In case that’s not the one, IIRC the singer from the Offspring had dreadlocks for a while in the 90’s. While they’re more like a 4 hit wonder, I think they’re in the ballpark.
