Second, running, what, five polls on basically the same question, one each day is either post-stuffing or forum stuffing or something of the sort. You start ONE thread on a topic, PERIOD.
I am combining the threads and moving them to IMHO.
Great lumbering Buddha, CK. Who pissed in your Cheerios this morning? The threads could have gone in either forum, they weren’t clogging up the pages, and your tone in closing the Academy Awards winners thread bordered on the downright rude. Besides which, we are just going to open another thread to get the final votes, because leaving it up in the air like that will just not do.

Well, this whole bit has taken smacked into a bit of a down note, but we can still wrap this one up in the same thread. And now, the results!

We’ll keep the polls open a bit longer for this final match – voting runs until 12 noon EST on Wednesday.
Maybe we should have a game forum so that the Dopers who enjoy these threads can play without pissing off the likes of Ellis Dee, hajario, and C K Dexter Haven. The forum moderator’s main job would probably be dealing with those malcontents who come in just to stir up trouble by making “Quit sucking up bandwidth” posts every month or so.
