Television Listings of the Damned

First time I heard it was in scotland in … oh lord… aberistwith? Heard it again in Edenb… arrrgg… then somewhere near … it was south of Scotland…

This is ofcourse not counting the REALLY hard to spell cities in Wales we stayed at that all got that channel.

No question, that’s a tough line-up to sit through, although 99 Things To Do Before You Die sounds like it could be either a lot of fun or a lot of holier-than-thou crap.

Still it could have been worse. It could have included a Who’s the Boss marathon.

shudder

Could be worse than that. We remade Who’s the Boss as The Upper Hand. What a dire little show that was.

BTW, sorry Francesca. Totally missed your post half an hour before mine.

So… any of you folks want a nice bracing holiday in Toronto? The weather’s beautiful right now.

Flights are cheap too, Sunspace. Thanks to the UN

jjimm and Kal - Well, that’s why I’ll probably ask a GQ. I don’t know about tuners and receivers, etc … don’t want to rip out something important and all that …

Actually, I’d have thought there was a market for that kind of product - I can’t be the only one, surely …

I ain’t got a damn clue if DVD’s have tuners or not, but you could always get yersen a PS2 or X-Box to play 'em on. Not only do they both lack tuners, but the PS2 now has a VGA adaptor so you can connect it to your monitor (dunno about the X-Box).

Or you could just whack a DVD-Rom into your 'puter and watch ‘The History Of Britain’ on that.

For those of you who have survived tonight’s TV viewing thus far, Channel 4 will be showing the film The Young Poisoner’s Handbook at half past twelve, a heartwarming tale about a young boy’s culinary experiments with thorium. It just keeps getting better and better…
