We’ve always had colorful walls, tho at the moment, they’re rather boring - blue in the bedrooms and the main bath (there’s wallpaper in the hall bath) and 2 shades of gray in the rest of the house. Plus 2 different shades of gray in the basement. However, since we’ve been here, we’ve had a medium burnt orange in the living room, then a putty color in there, 2 shades of green in the dining and kitchen, the same 2 greens in this unnamed room (den? computer room? small great room?) Plus at one point, the kitchen was a shade of burgundy,
I don’t like yellow walls, and we’ve never had any shades of purple. I’d like to redo our bedroom in green again, but nothing will happen in there till after Ziva is gone. The carpet needs to be replaced in all 3 bedrooms since they were last carpeted in 2008, but until our kitteh goes to her reward, I’m not going to tempt fate and her bladder.
FCD has gone to the marina to talk to the dockmaster about moving our slip. Along with its proximity to trees that results in too many leaves on the deck, it’s in a tight area and getting out can be a real challenge. So we shall see. He’s also taken the trash and recycling, and on the way home, he’ll stop at Lowe’s for a new recycle can. The old one literally split top to bottom. We have no idea how old it was - the previous owners left it and we’ve been here 22 years. So it had a good run.
He left before helping me move the dink - guess I’ll go futz in the basement. But I was productive. Yesterday he replaced our shower head, and I know he didn’t read the directions, because the hand-held unit leaked where the hose attached to the sprayer. I found a bag with washers - guess what wasn’t installed?? Well, it is now, and no leak. Go me!
