Great stuff everyone, thanks. I dled a tutorial from the mainsite and played the tutorials on the Magic Online Demo. Is there software where you can play against the computer? I really don’t feel like playing against people yet because I hardly know the rules even after the tutorials. Thanks
The Beginner’s CD I mentioned includes a simple AI against which you can play games with pre-built decks. If you contact a local gaming store you should be able to obtain one for free.
You can also play Apprentice, a freeware program for online card gaming. It contains all cards in existence and allows you to play over the Internet. Unfortunately, it’s a shell, ie the rules aren’t implemented, but it works just fine. I’d be happy to play some games against you to teach you the basic rules, if we’re ever awake and non-busy at the same time.
