I thought about it, and it isn’t contradictory to my career goals (eventually open my own business, but should that fail, database administration).

Check out the forums at degreeinfo.com. There’s lots of information there on accredited online programs and you may find something more affordable and more to your liking there.
I think they have a separate forum for computer-related programs.
