Tell me about Howard Waldrop

My local bookstore has a small selection of his fiction, and the back-cover blurbs are absolutely glowing, but I’m completely unfamiliar with his work.

What’s his style like? I briefly paged through one volume, but didn’t have a chance to get a meaningful impression.

Well, for one thing he wrote this and also this. The two-tone split down the middle is an eyesore, but I can’t find them anywhere else on the Internet.

I also have a copy of Them Bones, although I haven’t got around to reading it yet.
