Here is their facebook page and I think I get the basic idea - send them your diet books to be turned into art - but there has to be more to it. Thanks

you can go to my pathetic attempt to raise enough money to advertise nationally at the link above, to learn more about the project, as well as visiting my blog @ brendaoelbaum.me I also posted a response to your question on the Venus of Willendorf Project facebook page.
I appreciate your interest and will gladly answer any questions you have. Basically the project is about the same old, same old…DIETS DON’T WORK…but I ask people to really commit to that by donating their books ( often a challenge for people who are still drinking the Koolaid aka Slimfast…) I hope to gather enough books to build a monumental installation that will in a dynamic and thought provoking way educate the world about disordered eating, and how the so called answer to the"Obesity Epidemic"( eat less, move more"“Low-Carb” “Gluten Free” what ever the latest fad is …) is actually at the root of it’s creation. “Not every diet becomes an eating disorder, but every eating disorder begins with a diet.”
We need to stop focusing on physical body size as an indicator of health and become more accepting of the fact that people come in different sizes as well as different shades of flesh tones. I look forward to connecting with you and or receiving any diet books you wish to contribute to the project…I am open to activist projects with sororities if that is of interest? And any number of creative collaborations.
Thanks for the response and I wish you well with the project. I’ve never subscribed to fad diets so I’m afraid I have nothing to contribute but I am an avid reader and am truly dismayed at the number of misconceptions about obesity and diet that seem rampant.
However for people who keep up with the science, they will know the true complexity of the issue as is now being revealed in part by such things as the ‘human microbiome project.’
Once again, the best of luck in your endeavor.
Thank You Deltasigma…
