Tell me about your experience with brew bags

Thanks. I think this makes more sense than the JavaJig since they look easier to clean and I won’t have to deal with paper filters.

Yep, the filters sound like a nuisance!

Those look identical to the ones I use, and they’ve lasted for 2-3 years or more with no issues.

The stainless ones I use as another option:

To be completely honest, I think the plastic ones @needscoffee linked make better coffee and you don’t have to worry about the silicone seal coming off in a wash. But it did reduce my plastic use and possible microplastic exposure, which was a +1 for my wife.

I still have and use both.

I think you’ll be pleased with any of these options @dolphinboy.

I use ones like these:

4 Reusable K Cups for Keurig Coffee Makers – BPA-Free Refillable Coffee Pods Compatible with K-Classic, K-Elite, K-Express, K-Compact and K-Select (Not for MultiStream) Amazon.com: 4 Reusable K Cups for Keurig Coffee Makers – BPA-Free Refillable Coffee Pods Compatible with K-Classic, K-Elite, K-Express, K-Compact and K-Select (Not for MultiStream) : Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry

At $2.24 each by the time you’ve used it 5 times it has paid for itself as well as kept lots of single use plastic out of the landfill stream.

4 at a time is a good number. When I take a used one out of the Keurig I pop the lid up and let it sit overnight to to dry out so the grounds fall out readily for my use the next day, although it’s not that hard to ‘knock’ wet grounds out if you have that much ambition. Then the cups rinse out for their next use. With four you can also run them through the dishwasher.

They last about a year then the lid hinge gets fatigued and breaks, shrug. You can still use the lid on the pod while you order a resupply.
