Oh, I love that car. Several times I’ve found my head turned on the road and it was by a TT. But yeah, any car that starts at nearly $35k is out my price range!
Funny, I prefer the 2008 styling. And mine will be a $32k suppository, thankyouverymuch.
Reversing uphill’s a bitch, too (manual transmission). I’m about to ask for my previous parking space at my new job, because my current parking spot is sloped downhill. In order to back up without scraping the underside of my bumper, I have to back up pretty fast. And my car does pretty fast really damn well. It’s not a busy road, but I’m afraid I’m going to hit something or someone. (I have a Mustang Bullitt .)
If you want something with a little muscle, there’s still about 3000 of these left.
(Found a neat comparison video between my car and the 2008 Dodge Charger).
I took these two pics today, with the sunroof open (as you can tell). Can’t believe I forgot to take pictures of the back! Next sunny day when I’m in a mostly-empty parking lot.
It’s the limited edition colors: Metropolitan Gray Mica exterior, Cosmo Red (red and black) interior. The red isn’t either bright or dark; it’s hard for me to describe. You can see a little bit of the interior if you look at the biggest size of the first picture.
No plans for mods.
See post #63.
My first choice was a black Grand Touring w/sand leather, but there were apparently none to be found in a 600-mile radius. Just about the only Grand Touring available was in that Stormy Blue Mica, but I didn’t want a blue car. I’m really happy with my Metropolitan Gray Mica.
When I took my SO for his first ride in it, I mentioned how it goes really fast very quickly and that I’ll have to be careful not to tarnish my good driving record with a bunch of speeding tickets. He agreed, and said the car is a natural target anyway, and I said, “At least I didn’t get a red one!”
