Yesterday, after getting out of the shower, i deleted my (98% illegal) 15GB My Music folder. I’m starting fresh, downloading only Itunes. Its so weird, not being able to go to Limewire and download any song I want. I actually have to pay for it! Anyway, I had a sudden sense of moral responsibility yesterday and decided I should stop with the illegal downloading. The artists should get what they deserve.
Anyway, now that I’m done childishly expressing my pride in my actions (I could get a lot more fancy and elaborate but its 11:00 and I need to goet to sleep), Does anyone know any good Itunes deals on album? Like an album with many songs for under $10? I’m generally into metal, especially melodic metal, but rock is also good. Any suggestions?
I really, really love music, and it’s very tempting to just pack my iTunes with songs burned onto CDs by friends. But I’ve never felt comfortable with pirating music. having been involved with the music business (albeit on a very small level), I know that it isn’t only the multi-millionaire rock stars and producers who take the hit when I steal tracks. It’s the girl who vacuums the studio floors at night for $9/hour.
Isn’t destroying evidence of a crime illegal? I think the mods will soon be closing this thread, just like they do every post advocating illegal activity! You’re a very bad person!
Now, if you turned yourself in and handed over all your digital media, then paid the appropriate fines and restitutions and served the appropriate sentence, then maybe you’d be a good person.
