I’ll be in Ethiopia for three weeks in Aug-Sept. I haven’t been to Africa in decades, and Ethiopia is very different, culturally and historically, from “Africa”, so what should I expect?
I have age (77) and disability (blind) issues, so leave out anything that requires ambitious activity and “sightseeing”. I don’t want to be stuck in Addis, so open to any suggestions about locations outside the capital, where I can just hang out and rub shoulders with the Ethiopian experience. I’m not penny-pinching, but want to stay on the low end of the budget.
