Excellent advice - remember the one that worked. Bactrim won’t work for me, no matter what - it’s Cipro or nothing. I am so prone to UTI’s that my Ob/Gyn finally prescribed one dose of Cipro immediately after sex (along with the usual drink lots of water and pee immediately after sex stuff), and it’s done the trick. I hate to take abx with any frequency, but there’s no way I’ll put up with a UTI for more than an hour.
My favorite home remedy for a UTI is being a male. Really cuts down on the frequency and discomfort! I feel for you, though, as my wife has these with what seems to be astounding regularity. She swears by cranberry juice.
