How to sex a trout. Not something that was even remotely on my radar this evening.
I happened to buy frozen rainbow trout fillets at Trader Joes’ a few days ago. Haven’t thought about, or eaten, a trout in probably 18 months and now I have 2 references in 5 days. Soon to be 3 references when those go down the hatch tomorrow.
Sadly, the trouts from TJs give me no chance to practice my trout sexing; they’re already mutilated beyond recognition.
