Tell us what would be the most satisfying end for your favorite still-in-production TV show.

Should Alex graduate from college the week aftert Jay dies in the series finale of MODERN FAMILY?

Should a cure for the zombie plague be discovered in THE WALKING DEAD?

Should Holmes & Watson fall into bed together in SHERLOCK or ELEMENTARY?

You decide. I’m just here to distribute cheesecake.

The only rules to the thread are that only scripted TV shows are allowed (no “reality” tv) and only shows currently in production (this is not the place to bitch about HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER or BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.

I don’t watch TV. I’m just here to complain about the lack of chocolate options in the poll.

Who are you–Norma Desmond?

There can’t be chocolate in every dish, any more than Salome should be in every scene of Salome. If she is, she can never make an entrance.

Justified should end with Raylon leaving Harlan alive and going to be with his ex-wife and baby.

Castle ends with the pull back reveal that every episode was a book or short story, and that in the “real life” Castle is not a great author, and is a conspiracy nut. That would excuse a lot of the bad episodes, and mean that supervillians like 3XK and Brackman, and superspies like Castle’s dad didn’t really exist. And that time travel and invisibility suits don’t either.

So I can’t complain that *Lost *didn’t end with the castaways finding the wreckage of the USS Minnow?
I’d like to see Mad Men end with the death of ‘Don Draper’…but with the character portrayed by Jon Hamm assuming a new identity, moving to New Mexico, and becoming a silent partner in a new ‘hi-tech firm’ called Traf-O-Data.

So… Walking Dead:

I don’t really care whether there is a cure or not. The zombies will eventually wear out or be killed, meaning that the occasional new zombie will be a manageable problem for survivors. Zombies are not a legitimate extinction-level event; I don’t buy into an everlasting zombie apocalypse regardless of any cure.

It needs to end with rebuilding civilization in some fashion. Government, agriculture, science, etc. I’m perfectly happy letting it end early into the recovery, like when they find a farm or prison that provides a place to start building. In fact, if I was going to craft the final ending scene, it would be something like Rick’s great-grandson as Mayor having to handle the “crisis” of insufficient party treats for the town’s annual Founding Day celebration. Give us a montage of the recovery as he thinks about how bad it used to be and roll credits.

I’d like to see Big Bang ending with Amy-Sheldon and Leonard-Penny in a double wedding.

Leonard & Penny need to be removed from the dating pool as a service to others, but I like Amy too much to want to see her saddled with that neurotic dweeb Sheldon. I’m okay with Bernadette murdering him in his sleep, though.

He has to kill Boyd first.
C’mon. HE HAS TO KILL BOYD!

The Walking Dead: Carl is a much older man looking over some plans. He has a beard, like his dad. Judith walks in wearing a doctor’s coat and says, “It’s time for your booster.”

He turns to look out the window, at Atlanta, in the evening with traffic on the streets. Judith hits him with a hypospray on the inside of his forearm.

Carl picks up a photograph of his father, looking older than before, standing next to an older Daryl and Michonne, holding the largest bass anyone has ever seen. “I wish he could have seen this.” he says motioning to the window and getting choked up.

Judith rests her head on her brother’s shoulder. Fade to black.

I think Eva is going to wind up killing Boyd.

Agreed, Skald. I don’t want Amy and Sheldon to be married. I prefer to see Amy get an awesomely hot guy, sort of like Penny’s ex boyfriend and have Sheldon end up …well, I’m not sure about that. I honestly don’t care for his character…maybe he should end up homosexual or enter a monastery…something out of left field. On that thread, wonder how the death of Carol Susi (Debbi Wolowitz) will be handle

I’d like to see a double wedding on TBBT but with the pairing of Penny & Sheldon and Amy & Leonard. When those “couples” are alone together they get along great.

Just let 'em have the BSG ending.

Does Carl grow up to make stained glass or something?

And does Rick end up forming a band with Daryl and Michonne? What do the others play?

The window that has Atlanta in the evening with traffic moving. Like society is recovering.

Like this. Am I not writing in English here?
