My ex-boss’s daughter has blonde hair, and she put black streaks in her hair for her Halloween costume last year (she was a goth cheerleader). Ex-boss said that the color washed out the next morning. I’ll ask her what brand her daughter used.
Keep in mind, though, that darker colors (even wash-outs) tend to grab on to light hair and not let go. You could end up with black hair until it grows out.

This is true. I went from a light brown to black and over a year later there was a clearly defined line across my hair where the new brown was growing in and the black ended. I finally went to a salon and had a stylist dye it a darker shade of brown so I wasn’t two-toned in my brother’s wedding.
