Whilst shopping today I got an opportunity to lie on a Tempur-pedic mattress – 20" thick or somesuch. Wow! It was completely different from other mattresses, and very comfy. The 10" (I think?) not so much. A search finds that most people who have them like them, but there’s not a ton of owners (or weren’t, and they’ve been expanding distribution lately, which is why I’m reasking the quesition). Anyone with thoughts on the Tempur-Pedic?
Also, I’m looking for a iron-wood bed frame. Specifically, I like this one a lot. Which I found for more money here and here. Which leads to my other solicitation for advice. First, how do you choose a web-based commerce site if you’ve never used one? Second, is there a way I can find the manufacturer and/or authorized distributors so that a) I might get a better price and b) I might possibly customize it by specifying a different wood or a darker stain?
