Two I somewhat hazily remember sound like this but date further back. There was Video Village and Shenanigans.
Was that on in the mid-70s? And it lasted for maybe 6 weeks?
There was a show in maybe the late 80s that was a panel show, sort of a modified I’ve Got a Secret. There were 2 teams of 2 each. Marsha Warfield was usually on it. Anyone remember that?
The Krypton Factor debuted August 7, 1981 and ran five weeks. Hosted by Dick Clark.
There was a syndicated kids’ version that ran from 9/90 to 9/91, hosted by Willie Aames.
Thank you, Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows!
The Marsha Warfield show sounds kinda familiar but IMDB doesn’t list anything that matches for her.
I always knew you had good taste! :o

2 more kids game shows that my daughter and I loved were Legend of the Hidden Temple and Guts/Global Guts.
joker… JOKER… JOKER!!!
Anyone else notice that the “Price is Right” and “Match Game” they mention are the first editions, which bear little resemblance to the ones they were describing?
Hey, I do remember that show! I loved it – though I was about eight or nine at the time. I would never have remembered the name of it, though oddly enough, I seem to remember Chambersburg, PA furnishing a winning team one year. Anyway, thanks for reminding me about it.
No problem. Actually, I had forgotten about it also, but I stumbled across a website about it while randomly surfing one day.
Pat & Vanna been on the air for nearly 24 years.
Twenty Four.
Nearly everyone knows “I’d like to buy a vowel”
It isn’t hard and I wonder about people who can stare at a nearly filled out puzzle and not see that it clearly says “T_E STRAI__T DO_E” But it deserves some level of recognition for staying power.
Other than that -

and I’m going to throw out “Remote Control” (one of MTV’s older programs - which I do think other later game shows borrowed from (though they’d never admit it), and was one of the first times we saw Denis Leary, and more regretfully Adam Sandler)
I still prefer the Chuck Woolery “Wheel of Fortune” over Pat Sajak.
What, no love for Rolf Benirschke ? [ol]
