>>TENNIS<< 2010 French Open

It is only my undying and irrational love of Bjorn Borg that prevents me from rolling my eyes everytime Mac mentions him. Borg really ought to put him on retainer as a PR rep.

For the past decade, the top of the women’s game has been the men’s game, at least if you go by holding serve and aces. The Williams sisters are basically Andy Roddick of old playing against women. I find all their matches incredibly boring.

Ironically enough, their matches against each other are the worst of all even though they can’t dominate each other on serve. You’d think it’d evolve into a decent men’s match looking thing, what with the power serves and great returns, but it devolves into an amateur women’s looking trainwreck with eighty bajillion unforced errors, no pace, and a complete lack of intensity.

One last thing regarding this tournament, Nadal winning it sends him back to the number one ranking. How long can he hold it this time? Having zero points from last year’s Wimbledon will definitely help last through it at least.

I wonder where we can watch their match at Wimbledon.

He should gain ground at Wimbledon for sure. After that it depends on how much he plays and how well he holds up during the hardcourt part of the season.
