Has anyone seen this website?

It is a very good website. So good, I went ahead and bought the book. :stuck_out_tongue:

I bring it to people’s attention primarily because it is a rare example of a website that is successful as a marketing tool. IMHO, very few places have advertizing websites that even come close to being successful as advertising. This one is a success-as evidenced by the fact that their stock of books are gone. When I went to Amazon to buy the book, the delivery time is 3-6 weeks, so a late Xmas present this year!

Regardless of the book, I think this website is worth studying just to see an example of a successful site. What do others think?

you have been here for over three years now and you post this here. if i werent posting this on my cell i would report this. please read the rules more closely.

  1. What’s your question exactly?

  2. The content of the site is scientific gobbledygook. “Choice” as a dimension? “Folding time over” to get to the sixth dimension? I haven’t been this irritated by pseudoscientific BS since I watched (part of) What the Bleep Do We Know? If you’re going to claim that you have an interesting new way of conceiving of ultimate reality, that’s fine; go talk to the philosophers. But if you’re going to claim that it’s related to physics, with superstrings vibrating in your ten “dimensions”, then that dog won’t hunt.

Yeh, I came across this site intrigued a few months ago, thinking someone had created an eye-appealing, and even perhaps enlightening way of depicting the hypothetical super-dimentions that Super String Theory predicts. But after making it to their 4th dimension presentation where they describe it as a “line” but of time (as opposed to spacial), I felt like I accidentally walked into a Scientology meeting. Clever concepts to be sure, but hardly based on anything resembling physics. Pisses me off.

It enough to make me want to devote my skills and abilities in a way that supports REAL physics and scientific ideas in an profound, eye-apealing, fun and approachable-to-the-masses way. Anyone in?

Since there is no General Question here, let’s move this to IMHO.

Guess again. This is a print-on-demand book. It usually takes that long. Amazon will stock print-on-demand books that are successful. If they don’t stock it, then suffice it to say that the book is unpopular.
