Terrorists or THE terrorists (who's our enemy)

Not having seen Bush’s speech was it agains TERRORISTS or THE TERRORISTS who took out the WTC. (who ever they are)

I wondered this as another posted noted correctly that Syria was a terrorist supporter so could hardly join a coillition.

But Syria usually joins ANY side that is against the people they are. (As Churchill said my enemy’s ememy is my friend.) (i.e. Syria hated us but also hated Iraq so was able to join us against Iraq)

So when Bush says fight terrorism, is that ALL terrorist or just the ones that attack us. (example the IRA [depending on your viewpoint is or isn’t] but since it doesn’t attack the USA who cares)

I believe Bush said our enemy was all terrorists with a global reach. Certainly eases a lot of (in some minds) thorny questions.
