On 3rd November, yanceylebeef informed us that Terry Pratchett suffered a minor stroke here.
Well, latest news from Paul Kidby.com says that the stroke was the result of a “rare form of early onset Alzheimer’s”
But TP is stoic about it and promises a few more books before…well, you know.

Very sad news.
It was bad enough losing Douglas Adams too early, now this.
Well, that fucking sucks.
This has seriously bummed me out.
My heart goes out to him and his family.

Alzheimer’s is terrible, so a visit sooner rather than later - but not too soon - should, alas, be welcomed.
DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT.
I hate that fucking disease.

That’s true. I was thinking more of the imminent end than of the intervening stretch of time, but you are definitely right on that.

That’s SQUEEK! But I agree with your
Crap. And I’ve only recently discovered his work, too.

Dammit! I hate that disease, too. I was worried when I heard about the stroke but at least it is possible to recover from a stroke.
This hurts. I get so much pleasure reading his books. I selfishly hope that he can continue writing for some while.
I have Sometimers, it is increasingly becoming Mostimers.
